Vallee of the Wind Farm
Grass-Fed Lamb & Wool Products
As a shepherd and fiber artist, my practice is rooted in regenerative agriculture and thoughtful transformation of wool and sheepskin into yarn, felt batts, as well as finished leather goods. My work sits at the intersection of craft, land stewardship, and material innovation. I raise a flock of rare Clun Forest sheep, a threatened heritage breed, following traditional rotational grazing techniques while exploring themes of heritage, resilience, and sustainability. I process all the fiber and hides by hand to create functional and sculptural textiles, and hand woven pieces that honor the natural qualities of the wool. Through workshops and direct sales, I also share the full farm to fiber journey with others. My artistic practice is process based; Caring for the land and animals by transforming their byproducts into beautiful art objects and functional craft to narrate stories about biodiversity, cultural preservation, and regenerative living.
